Vintage educational globe with dynamic center (Czech Republic), early 1950’s

A very unusual item, featuring a metallic sliding mechanism to position the globe under various degrees of inclination. 

The sphere is made from a hard clear Bakelite with longitude and latitude markings in painted colour on its surface.

An original piece of decoration, which will leave most of your visitors heads spinning with curiosity.

In very good vintage condition with some light signs of wear and use (no cracks!)
