A great 1950's school desk made by Torck (Belgium).

Founded in the late 19th century, the toy manufacturer was mainly known for its pedal cars for children aiming to compete with the British market. However the company also produced other toys and children's furniture in the 50s which continued  until the factory's closure in the 70s.

Robust frame featuring two manual mechanisms, one to adjust the height of the foot stand, the other to adjust the chair's height.

Distinctive blue painted outline on frame, seat and table, characteristic of similar Torck designs.

In good vintage condition with some signs of wear and use.
